April 22nd    Precision Agriculture  Precision conservation delivers wildlife habitat AND improved farm profitability.  Join Pheasants Forever Precision Ag and Conservation Specialist Josh Divan to learn how Pheasants Forever is working with farmers and their precision ag data to identify unprofitable cropland acres and develop laser-focused habitat alternatives to turn red acres green.  

May 5th        Why Natives?  Join Pheasants Forever biologists Mike Sundall and Joe Frieden as we discuss the importance of planting native plants on your property. Learn about the many benefits native plants have on the land and wildlife and learn why you should be choosing natives over other non-native options.   

May 20th      Cover Crops and Pheasants   Join ISU Graduate Student Taylor Shirley and Pheasants Forever biologist Holly Schutt to learn about recent studies in Iowa researching the impact of cover crops on pheasant nesting and pheasant habitat.  

June 10th      Edge Feathering   Learn about this land management technique - a favorite to quail and other wildlife – with Pheasants Forever Biologists Shane Weinberg and Blake Charboneau. Discuss how and why edge feathering to create a softer timber edge is beneficial. 

June 24th      Pollinator Habitat  Join Pheasants Forever Biologists Dan Borchardt and Tabitha Panas to discuss the importance of pollinators in our daily lives, from the food we eat to the air we breathe, as we share a glimpse into the beauty and purpose they bring to our world.
