The Crawford County Area Republican Women (CCRW) will be meeting. The program at this meeting will be “Pizza & Politics”. Iowa Senator Jason Schultz and Vivek Ramaswamy, Ohio, hopeful US presidential candidate will present the program.

Senator Schultz, Schleswig, serves as the chair of the State Government Standing Committee and a member of the Commerce, Judiciary, Ways and Means and Workforce Committees. Schultz also serves as a member of the Public Retirement Systems and State Government Efficiency Review Permanent Statutory Committees and former member of the Fiscal Committee.

Jason Schultz represents Crawford, Ida, Carroll, Shelby, Audubon and part of Pottawattamie Counties in the Iowa State Senate. He will be reviewing the current Senate Legislative session.

Attendees will hear from Vivek Ramaswamy, who has announced that he is running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Vivek Ramaswamy, Columbus, Ohio, is an American business leader and bestselling author of Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam, along with other books.

Ramaswamy is the reported “self-described intellectual godfather of the anti-woke movement.”

Interested area Conservatives are invited to attend this meeting. Pizza, beverage and dessert will be served for a suggested freewill donation of $10. Ecklund stated, “Our meetings are for conservative men and students, as well as women. Our goal is to share great programs and learning.”
