Crawford Area Republican Women (CARW) will meet 6:30 pm, Thursday, July 30 at
Team Auto, 1904 4th Ave. S., Denison (former Dalton Auto Building on the North side of
Hwy 30).
Iowa State Representative Steven Holt, will present a “Tough on Crime” conversation
and legislative update. There will also be a America 250 surprise.
Rep. Holt has served in the Iowa House since 2015, and as Judiciary Chair since 2019.
A U.S. Marine (Ret.) and former police officer, he is known as a warrior in the
Statehouse for tackling the toughest issues: gender identity; abortion; gun rights; school
choice; eminent domain for private gain.
Gwen Ecklund, CCRW president said that interested area Conservatives (men and
students, as well as women) from Crawford County and the surrounding areas are
welcome to come hear from this Freedom Fighter.
A meal will not be served so attendees should plan accordingly.
