Crawford County Shooting Sports 5/13/22 Meet Scores

The Crawford County Shooting Sports team hosted their second home conference meet of the season this past Saturday, May 13th. 58 students from the Crawford County Shooting Sports team competed in the event with an overall student count of 163 students competing between the five conference schools. The beautiful weather was welcomed and enjoyed by all, but especially by the competing students. Some great scores were realized as a result of that weather and the competition was extremely tight. Between the nice weather and the strong competition, it made for an exciting day on the range. Below are results from the meet.

 

HS Squad:

 

  1. Our “G” Team that consisted of Kylar Blunk, Brody Scheuring, John Graeve, Garret Plagge, and Koen Miller brought home 1st place with a score of 227
  2. Ida County brought home 2nd place with a 225
  3. The MVAOCOU Rams team that consisted of Drew Oberreuter, Tyler Ohlmeier, Ace Staley, Aiden Bottjen, and Ryan Parker brought home 3rd place with a 221

 

HS Men:

  1. Jakob Wigg brought home the 1st place finish for the Crawford County Shooting Sports team with his score of 48 and a RR of 27
  2. Ida County took 2nd place with a score of 48, RR of 6
  3. Ace Staley of the MVAOCOU Rams took the 3rd place finish with a score of 48, RR of 3

 

HS Ladies:

 

  1. Ida County brought home the 1st place finish with a score of 46 and a RR of 24
  2. Gracen Plagge brought home the 2nd place finish with a score of 46 and a RR of 5
  3. Kallie Bromert brought home the 3rd place finish with her score of 45

 

MS Squads:

 

  1. The Middle School “G” squad that consisted of Morgan Wood, Justice Luetje, Cale Paulsen, Coy Poggensee, and Owen Fink brought home the 1st place finish with their score of 210.
  2. Ida County took 2nd place with a score of 192
  3. Our “A” Team that consisted of Luke Steinkamp, Cooper Knickman, Lucas Schneider, Grace Collins, and Charlie Beeck took the 3rd place with their score of 190

 

MS Men:

 

  1. Morgan Wood earned the 1st place finish with his score of 46
  2. Ida County took 2nd place with a score of 45
  3. Cale Paulsen brought home the 3rd place finish with his score of 43.

 

MS Ladies:

 

  1. Grace Collins brought home the 1st place finish with her score of 38.
  2. Ida County finished up in 2nd place with a score of 33
  3. Carroll County brought home the 3rd place award with a score of 30

 

The Conference teams will all take a weekend off this weekend in preparations for the 100-target conference finals that will be held on Saturday, May 27th at the AVAD Hunt Club in Dedham. Results from that meet, along with the year-end results from the Conference standings, will be updated at that point.
