JV Monarch Football vs. Glenwood

The Monarch JV football team played the Glenwood
Rams on Monday, September 18th, at Denison High
School. After four quarters, the end result was 21-0 in
favor of the Rams. An early interception from Nash
Langenfeld defensively gave momentum to the Monarchs.
A hard fought defensive battle in the first half led to a
score of 0-0 at halftime. The Monarchs moved the ball well
offensively in the second half to put them in position for
scoring opportunities multiple times but fell short. Brailyn
Desy and Jackson Graeve led the run game for the
Monarchs. Defensively the Monarchs forced several
turnovers on downs. The Monarch JV team’s next
competition will be Monday, September 25th at home
against Fort Dodge.
