Late rally falls short for No. 23 Iowa women
The 23rd-ranked Iowa Hawkeye women had a late rally fall short in a 74-66 loss to eighth-ranked Maryland. The Terrapins led by 25 points in the opening half handing the Hawkeyes their first home loss. Maryland took control by opening the second quarter on a 16-3 run and the Hawkeyes fell to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the Big Ten.
