NASCAR Cup Series return to the Iowa Speedway nears sellout
The return of the NASCAR Cup Series to the Iowa Speedway is nearing a sellout. The Iowa Corn 350 is on Sunday, August 3, and the Xfinity race is on August 2. Both races were sold out last June. That's Iowa Speedway president Eric Peterson who says the renewal rate from last year's event was extremely high. There was a partial repave of the racing surface last year and Peterson says they have decided against a further repave.
