Drake football coach Joe Woodley on adding depth

Drake football coach Joe Woodley says he may search the transfer portal to add depth at running back and wide receiver. The position group were a bit of a concern for the Bulldogs, who closed out spring drills last week. Woodley says how active they are in the portal may depend on how many Drake players may decide to move on. Woodley says Drake has been and will remain a program that develops players, and the portal will be used to fill some immediate needs. Woodley will debut as the Drake coach on August 28th when the Bulldogs host Upper Iowa.
