Iowa rallies to edge Michigan State
Iowa avoided a Senior Day disaster by rallying for a 20-17 win over Michigan State. Drew Stevens connected on a 44-yard field goal as time expired, as the Hawkeyes rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit. It was an emotional finish to the home season for coach Kirk Ferentz. Bottled up for most of the day, the Hawkeyes' offense did not score until the fourth quarter before putting up 13 points in the final 11 and a half minutes. The Hawkeyes are 7-4 and close the regular season with a Black Friday game at Nebraska.
