Northern Iowa's Todd Stepsis recaps the season
Northern Iowa football coach Todd Stepsis says, despite the overall record, he feels good about the future of the program. The Panthers lost to Youngstown State and finished 3-9 in Stepsis' first season as head coach. Stepsis is confident that better days are ahead. One bright spot is that the Panthers found their quarterback of the future. Jaxon Dailey started the final four games under center. Stepsis is in the process of hiring a new strength coach for the program and hopes that helps with durability and team speed.
