OABCIG alum Cash Wilcke added to Iowa State Women's Wrestling staff
On Tuesday, Iowa State University announced the hire of OABCIG alum Cash Wilcke to take over as Director of Operations & Assistant Caoch for the Iowa State Women's Wrestling program.
Wilcke joins the Cyclones following three seasons as an assistant coach for the men's and women's wrestling teams at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA. Wilcke helped lead the women's program to three-consecutive top five NAIA national finishes and prior to William Penn, Wilcke coached one season at Iowa Wesleyan where he led the women's squad to a seventh-place team finish at the 2023 NAIA National Championships.
Wilcke is an OABCIG graduate, where he racked up a succesful wrestling career, qualifying for the state meet twice while becoming a four time conference champion. Wilcke would wrestle at the University of Iowa where he would a three time national qualifier.
