Greater Iowa Credit Union to Provide Financial Literacy Education to Local Students and Communities
The Greater Iowa Credit Union is providing financial literacy education to over 6,300
students and residents in several Iowa counties. Students at 12 schools and the surrounding
communities have free access to Banzai, an online program and content library
that allows users to practice finances using any internet-enabled device. Students can try out managing a budget, saving, and dealing with unexpected financial setbacks, among other resources. Teachers are able to monitor and grade student progress remotely. There is no time limit to sign up for this program. If the schools are sponsored by Greater Iowa Credit Union, then teachers have full access free of charge. Teachers can get in contact with a representative at Greater Iowa Credit Union and set up in-class presentations or visit a branch.
