Two Denison Police Officers Awarded Certificates For Assistance In Critical Case

Officers Krajicek and Wolff were presented with certificates of appreciation for their quick action in a critical case. The officers responded to a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation,

(CPR) call and assisted CCMH EMS personnel. Officer Wolff drove the ambulance to CCMH, so the EMS personnel could devote full attention to the patient. Officer Krajicek escorted and diverted traffic to ensure timely arrival at the hospital. Interim Chief Cardenas praised the officers for their integration with EMS personnel. “It helps that recently we did a CPR refresher training at CCMH. So the guys were pretty fresh on how to properly render aid in regards to CPR.” Both officers passed the CPR Heart Saver training at CCMH with Dana Neemann, Nurse Director of Education. Interim Chief Cardenas said Denison Police remain committed to providing assistance as first responders.
