Council Bluffs Police investigate 2 deaths
At 12:18 Sunday morning, Council Bluffs Police and Council Bluffs Fire and Rescue responded to the 2100 block of South 29th Street in reference to a man down. Upon arrival, officers and medics found 36 year old Deonte Ivory of Omaha deceased on the roadway. An autopsy will be performed early this week. At 7:02 Sunday morning, Council Bluffs Police, along with Council Bluffs Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the entrance of the Western Trails Historic Center on South 24th Street for another man down. A citizen walking their dog found the deceased body of 25 year old Michael Andersen of Omaha on the ground. An autopsy will be performed on Anderson this week also. Detectives continue to investigatte the circumstances of both deaths, including whether or not they are related.
