House Fire in Vail Tuesday Night
Denison,Manilla,Westside and Kiron Volunteer Fire Depts were called out Auto/Aid to the Vail Volunteer Fire Dept for a structure fire located on Bergan St. in Vail, Iowa at 8:14pm on last evening.Upon arrival the LP gas and electricity were cutoff from the home.Everyone was reported out of the home,there was fire in the kitchen and basement, and the attack was made into the kitchen and where the basement stairs were located.the fire was knocked down in short order and the house was super hot inside and was vented through the roof with a fan pushing air at the kitchen door.there were no reported injuries. Kiron ambulance was on the scene.
