Denison Municipal Utilities Report Recent Monitoring Indicates Positive Signs of Well Water Recharge

Denison Municipal Utilities reported that recent monitoring indicates positive signs of well water recharge. They have observed an increase in groundwater levels across their well network. This indicates that the aquifers are slowly recharging, which is crucial for maintaining a sustainable water supply for the community.

While this is encouraging news, the wells still haven’t recharged to the levels they need to be prior to the drought. It is important to note the area has been in a four-year drought and it’s going to take some time to replenish the aquifer. It's important for the community to remain vigilant and continue  efforts in water conservation.
