Logan-Magnolia coach Matt Straight selected to coach in 2025 Shrine Bowl
On Monday, Logan-Magnolia Panthers football coach Matt Straight was selected to coach in the 2025 Shrine Bowl on July 19th at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Straight will head the South team for the first time as a head coach, and second time overall on the coaching staff. A tradition since 1972, the Iowa Shrine Bowl is an all-star football game recognizing senior athletes and coaches across the State of Iowa. Funds raised benefit Shriners' Children and its mission to provide the best pediatric care anywhere, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. A wide range of services includes care for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip, and palate. Noah Caruso talked to Matt Straight about the game and the honor of coaching the team in 2025.
