Crawford County Hunger Fighters' latest food distribution results

Results for the Hunger Fighters food distribution on 9/20/22 are as follows:

262 families served, consisting of 410 adults and 258 children.  Included in these numbers are 47 home deliveries.

In addition, we have started our 2022/2023 school year Backpack program.  This Friday will be the second distribution for this year and we are already delivering 300 sacks. Deliveries are made weekly to grades K through 5 at seven Elementary Schools in the county.

A special thank you to all our Hunger Fighter volunteers.  Between the two programs, there are more than 100 volunteers.  We could not do any of this without you.

Also, a special thank you to all of you in the Press for keeping the public informed about the programs offered by the Hunger Fighters to all residents of Crawford County.  Keeping the public informed is critical to our success.

I also want to shout out a special thank you to all our Sponsors and donors who have given us their financial support over the last 7 plus years.  Currently, $5000 to $6000 is needed each month to continue both programs.

I will continue to keep you informed and again, thanks for all you do.
