DOT Will Patch Highway 30 Potholes in Denison
The Iowa DOT will soon be patching up several sections of Highway 30 in Denison.
Mayor Pam Soseman says Public Works reached out to the department after hearing about large potholes during Citizen’s Input at this week’s city council meeting.
“We were able to connect the dots between the citizen and the complaint and take it to the DOT. As soon as the weather clears up a little bit, the Iowa DOT will bring in the Durapatcher to repair those potholes on Highway 30,” said Soseman.
She also says the city is now categorized as historic or blighted in their Urban Revitalization Plan after no objections during a public hearing. The council adopted that item without needing to amend the city code to reflect the change.
