One Dead After M47 Crash South of Irwin

One person is dead after a two-vehicle collision Thursday south of Irwin. 

The Iowa State Patrol reports a 1995 Toyota Camry was northbound on M47 and crossed the center line before striking a transport van. Authorities say 20-year-old Grant Gaer of Irwin was driving the Camry died at the scene. The driver of the transport van was 74-year-old Galen Gaer and he was not injured in the crash.
