$50,000 grant awarded for butterfly sanctuary in Auburn
After a Sac County Board of Supervisors meeting, it has been made aware that there has been approval for a $50,000 grant for a butterfly sanctuary to be placed in Auburn. The sanctuary will be placed near the bike route. The project leader, Jane Barto had nearly given up on hope for the grant after the first desired location had fell through. Soon though, the project will begin and plenty of excitement has been sparked in the Auburn community.
