Charges filed for Sac City woman after returned lab results
Charges for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, have been filed against 39 year old Brandi Wirtjers of Sac City after results from testing confirm a substance seized in a previous search was in fact meth. Wirtjers has also been charged with child engangerment. The Sac City and Lake View Polive Departments served a narcotics search warrant at the Wirtjers residence on March 27th of this year. The crystal white substance was found during the search and sent to the Iowa Department of Criminalistics Labratory for testing and identificaton.
