Grassley to Hold Town Meetings in Crawford, Shelby and Guthrie Counties
WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold public town meetings in Denison on April 24 and Harlan and Panora on April 25 as part of his annual 99 county meetings across Iowa.
*The office of Sen. Grassley will hold a town meeting tomorrow, April 23, in Wapello. Due to Senate votes unexpectedly scheduled tomorrow, Regional Director Penny Vacek will attend on Grassley’s behalf. Grassley will attend an additional town meeting in Louisa County in the coming weeks.

“The essence of representative government is continued dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. I look forward to hearing directly from Iowans in Crawford, Shelby and Guthrie counties and bringing their insights back to the policymaking tables in Washington,” Grassley said.
This is Grassley’s 44th consecutive year holding at least one meeting in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. During the meetings, Grassley takes questions or comments on any subject. Iowans set the agenda.R39;

The town meetings are open to the public and media. Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after each meeting to answer questions from local reporters. Members of the media who wish to attend the town hall or the media availability must RSVP. Please RSVP directly to Hannah_Akey@grassley.senate.
