Western Iowa Tech and Briar Cliff announce partnership
Western Iowa Tech Community College has partnered with Briar Cliff University recently as part of an effort to help future educators. The schools announced yesterday that they have entered into an articulation agreement, which will allow students who earn an Associate of Arts Degree from Western Iowa Tech to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Briar Cliff University. School administrators told reporters that with the demand for qualified teachers in the Siouxland area continuing to rise, the partnership will allow students from WIT to easily transfer credits upon transferring to Briar Cliff.
