Schaller man injured while working construction
A man from Schaller was injured while working in a construction zone in Mills County. An Iowa State Patrol accident report shows that the incident happened just after 12:30 yesterday, November 17th in the afternoon. 60 year old Milliam McBee of Dunlap, Tennessee was driving a 2014 Peterbilt 389K truck, headed north on I-29. 70 year old Wayne Hansen of Schaller, a construction worker, attempted to cross the single-lane of travel, walking west into the construction zone, and was struck by the vehicle. Hansen was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
