Wednesday Headlines! 12/02/2020

-At the Harrison County Board of Supervisors meeting tomorrow, December 3, a decision will be made to continue or cancel the face covering regulation in the county. The discussion will happen sometime after 10:30 a.m. Harrison County was the first listening area county to enforce face-covering regulations.

 

-Crawford County Memorial Hospital announced on their Facebook page this morning that the LifeServe Blood Center, the center they rely on for their blood supply at CCMH, is in urgent need of blood donations, specifically type O negative and O positive. A special community blood drive will be held on Thursday, December 31st from 8:30A.M until noon to help boost their supply. Residents are asked to consider donating.

 

 

-The Denison Police Department also released their monthly activity report. In total the department worked just under 2000 hours, traveled over 7600 miles, and used 655 gallons of fuels. In November they have underwent 16 theft investigations, which is up 7 from November of last year, but just 5 vandalism investigations which is less than the 7 that occurred in November of 2019. Vehicle accidents are also down from 2019. As 20 accidents were investigated in 2019's November compared to 11 just this November.
