CCMH to hold EMS classes virtually

In a press release, the Crawford County Memorial Hospital announced that the 24th Annual Crawford County EMS Conference which is sponsered by CCMH will be held virtually in 2021 due to current regulations related to crowds and social distancing. The upcoming conference will begin with the first session on January 7th and conclude with the final presentation on march 18th. All seven presentations will last an hour and begin at 6:30 P.M. and there is no cost to attend any of the virtual sessions, though pre-registration is required. 

Director of Emergency Services for CCMH, Jason Franklin, said the EMS conference is designed to provide Emergency Services personnel with up-to-date life savings skills and information outstanding instructors. Franklin also noted that there is a broad variety of instructors that will be making virtual presentations. CCMH Ambulance Department Manager, Bruce Musgrave added that the investment in the expertise of earch First Responder, Emergency Medical Technical, Paramedic, and Nurse is vital to providing the best emergency care possible.
