CCMH announce new Plastic Surgical and Dermatologic services
Crawford County Memorial Hospital issued a press release announcing the addition of a new plastic surgical and dermatologic services provider in the CCMH Specialty Clinics. CCMH and Dr. Douglas Ramos have entered into an agreement to offer both plastic surgical and dermatologic services on a two-day per month schedule. CCMH CEO, Erin Muck stated, “the fact that Dr. Ramos provides reconstructive plastic surgery is very important to us. He will also make available a wide array of cosmetic procedures including Botox and filler. In addition, his ability to offer dermatologic services for patients with skin troubles or cancers will fill a void in our community.” Dr. Ramos has served on national committees of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has served as tournament physician for the NCAA College World Series for several years, the NCAA Basketball Regional Tournament, as team physician for Creighton University Athletics, and as Chariman of both the Big East Conference and NCAA Health and Safety Comittees. Dr. Ramos serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Creighton University and as an adjunct Professor at Boston College, he is also the spouse of Dr. Tammy Ramos who has provided services at CCMH for the past twenty years.
