KDSN to Start Announcing Children in Need November 13th for the Thirty-Eighth Annual Christmas Crusade for Children
The Thirty-Eighth Annual Christmas Crusade for Children will begin airing on KDSN Radio on Wednesday, November 13th. This program is a cooperative effort between KDSN Radio, the Denison Police Department, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and other Crawford County law enforcement agencies.
The goal of the program is to identify children aged 13 and younger who, due to family financial restraints, may not be receiving anything for Christmas. A list containing the age, sex, and gift requests of these children is then given to KDSN, which announces the information on the air in an effort to get a citizen or organization from the community to adopt the child and purchase the gift for them.
If you are aware of any family whose children would benefit from the Christmas Crusade program, please have them contact the Denison Police Department, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, or their local law enforcement agency to learn how they can enroll their children in this program.
Wouldn't it bring great joy to your hearts knowing that you made some child's Christmas a little brighter?
Thank you,
Chief Tony Trejo
