Sac City Police Department Donates Toys to Local Swaddling Clothes Program for the Holidays

(Sac City, IA) In the spirit of giving this holiday season, the Sac City Police Department has made a generous donation of new toys to the Swaddling Clothes Program, an initiative run by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sac City. The toys, which were donated by a local Good Samaritan, will be distributed to families in need through the program.
The Swaddling Clothes Program has long been an important resource for the community, assisting families with essential supplies and support. The Sac City Police Department, which has worked closely with the program in the past, expressed its gratitude for the ongoing efforts of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and its volunteers.
In a statement, the police department highlighted the program’s valuable role in the community, noting how they have always been a dependable partner when officers seek help for families in need. "A big shout-out to the Swaddling Clothes Program and St. Paul's Lutheran Church for everything they do to make Sac City a great place to live," said the department.
A special acknowledgment was given to Deputy Egesdal of the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, who assisted by capturing a photo of the donation.
The donation reflects the continued collaboration between local law enforcement and community organizations to support Sac City residents during the holiday season and throughout the year.
