Manning Regional Healthcare Center adds two new directors
Manning Regional Healthcare Center recently welcomed two new directors to their facility. Taya Vonnahme transitioned from her nursing role at MRHC to become the new director of the Recovery Center at Manning Regional and B.J. Schreck has been hired as the new Information Technology (IT) director.Vonnahme is a Manning local and has worked in various nursing areas throughout her career at MRHC, including the Recovery Center. She will graduate as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in February.
Vonnahme stated in a press release, “My background is in nursing and the medical side of addiction and health - so this opportunity will allow me to apply my medical background combined with addiction studies and bring a new aspect of leadership to MRHC. I believe this will set us apart from other recovery centers, I am excited to work with an amazing team here in the recovery center and continue to provide fantastic services and help those in need.” As the new director of the recovery center, Vonnahme’s goal is to not only grow inpatient services but increase awareness of outpatient services as well.
MRHC’s new IT Director, B.J. Schreck, a life-long resident of Carroll County, previously worked for American Home Shield in Carroll for 15 years and held various roles serving in the Iowa Air National Guard prior to coming to MRHC.
Shreck added to the press release, “I’m excited for the opportunity to get back to a local, small-town Iowa organization, I realize how big of a footprint MRHC leaves, not only in the local area, but across many levels of the medical industry, and I know that as the organization continues to grow and expand that footprint, I'll also have the chance to grow personally and professionally, right along with them.”
