City of Denison Now Accepting Proposals to Rent Burgess Acres for 2025 Growing Season
DENISON, IA – The City of Denison is currently accepting proposals to rent Burgess Acres, a 23.39-acre property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of S 8th Street and 25th Avenue South. Of the total acreage, 22.05 acres are designated as cropland.
Interested parties are invited to submit proposals that specify the intended crop, whether row or cover crop, as well as the proposed rental price per acre for the 2025 growing season. The rental agreement will be for one year.
Proposals must be submitted to City Hall, located at 111 N Main Street in Denison, by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025.
