Team Fink Benefit Event Set for July 12 at Majestic Hills & Boulders Conference Center
A community-driven benefit event supporting Derek Fink, who is battling ALS, will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Majestic Hills & Boulders Conference Center. The event aims to raise funds to help cover Fink’s medical treatments and associated needs.
The benefit kicks off with a 9-hole, four-person scramble golf tournament at 2:00 p.m., priced at $240 per team. Following the golf event, doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for a silent auction, with a catered meal from Lidderdale being served between 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. A live auction will take place immediately after the meal.

Derek Fink, a well-known local teacher, coach, and activities director, was diagnosed with ALS last July. Known for his motto of "Energy, Attitude, & Toughness," Fink has maintained his resilience, channeling his leadership skills toward navigating his diagnosis and seeking innovative treatments.
All proceeds from the event will directly support Derek Fink’s treatments and medical needs as he continues his courageous battle with ALS.
