Back the Blue Raffle to Raise Money for Crawford Co K-9 Project
The committee planning the free Back the Blue BBQ at Washington Park in Denison on June
16, 2025 has a couple side projects planned, as well as all the BBQ events. Gwen Ecklund,
president of the Crawford County Republican Women, shares that planning committee
members are busy selling raffle tickets to give away a PIT Boss 2-Burner Tabletop Grill
($130 value donated by Bomgaars) and a Deluxe Car Detail ($250 value donated by Ertz
Custom Detailing).
In addition to the drawing, supporters are rallying together to show their support with the
sale of Back the Blue BBQ t-shirts by Graphix by Amy. These navy-blue shirts with the BBQ
logo are available on-line and through Facebook. Order deadline is Midnight, June 12,
2025. The shirts come in adult men’s sizes Small through 5X-large.
