Denison Police to Host “National Night Out” on August 5th
Denison, IA – July 7, 2025 – The Denison Police Department is inviting residents from across Denison and surrounding Crawford County communities to attend this year’s National Night Out, taking place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The nationwide event aims to strengthen relationships between local law enforcement and the communities they serve. Denison’s celebration will offer residents a fun, family-friendly evening to connect with officers, learn about safety resources, and enjoy community camaraderie.
Getting the Word Out
To help promote the event, the Denison Police Department has reached out to KDSN Radio to spread the word to listeners throughout the county. Police Chief Tony Trejo will join The Morning Scoop on Wednesday, July 16th at 8:45 a.m. to talk more about what the public can expect and why National Night Out matters.
“We want to make sure everyone knows they’re invited,” said organizers in a message to KDSN. “This is about bringing people together and building a stronger, safer community for everyone.”
