Announcing Rosy Segoviano: The Eventide Foundation’s Inaugural Scholarship Recipient

CRAWFORD COUNTY, IA – The Eventide Foundation is proud to announce Rosy Segoviano as the recipient of our inaugural scholarship award. A 2025 graduate of Denison High School, Rosy distinguished herself through academic excellence, strong character, and a heartfelt dedication to caring for the elderly—an area central to the mission of our Foundation.
The Eventide Foundation Scholarship was created to support and encourage high school seniors in Crawford County who aspire to pursue careers in healthcare, with a particular emphasis on the aging services field. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to a talented and passionate individual committed to making a meaningful difference in healthcare.
Rosy plans to attend Iowa State University this fall to pursue a degree in Kinesiology and Health. Her academic focus complements her deep compassion and dedication to serving others, reflecting the core values the scholarship seeks to foster. She became familiar with Gracewell after completing 40 hours of onsite clinical experience through Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC), gaining valuable hands-on exposure to elder care. Throughout her high school career, Rosy has demonstrated outstanding commitment to volunteering and supporting the elderly, inspiring those around her with empathy and kindness.
The selection process was highly competitive, with candidates evaluated on academic achievement, character, leadership, and active participation in school and community activities. Rosy’s exceptional blend of scholastic accomplishment and sincere devotion to elder care set her apart as the ideal recipient. We are proud to support her as she embarks on this important academic journey.
The Eventide Foundation congratulates Rosy Segoviano and looks forward to witnessing her continued growth and contributions to the healthcare and aging services field.
