Benjamin Schauer Declares Candidacy for House District 15
DUNLAP, IA – FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2025 – Benjamin Schauer, a public school teacher, union member, and city councilman, has officially announced his candidacy for the Iowa House of Representatives in District 15.
Schauer previously ran for the same seat in 2024 and says he is continuing his campaign with a focus on representing the interests of rural Iowans. In his announcement, Schauer emphasized the need for policy changes aimed at addressing challenges faced by communities in the district.
According to Schauer, his campaign will prioritize the following issues:
