Denison Businesses Honored at Annual CDC Meeting

DENISON – The Chamber & Development Council of Crawford County (CDC) proudly celebrated the excellence and impact of local businesses during its Annual Meeting, presenting its 2025 Business Awards to several outstanding members of the community.
Each year, the CDC honors businesses across three categories that reflect the passion, resilience, and innovation that drive the local economy. This year’s honorees included:
🔹 Innovators Award – Dustin Durbin, The Old Fashioned (Denison)
Awarded to a business operating for less than five years, this honor recognizes creativity and forward-thinking among Denison’s newest entrepreneurs.
🔹 Emerging Leaders Award – Corey Gaskill, Advanced Communication Services
This category spotlights businesses with 5 to 19 years of service, highlighting their growth, leadership, and contributions to the community.
🔹 Legacy Award – Jeff Roiland, Western Iowa Networks
Given to a business that has served the region for over 20 years, this award pays tribute to longevity, consistency, and lasting impact.
In addition to these honors, Glen Vetter was presented with a special plaque recognizing Vetter Equipment's 50 years in business—a milestone that reflects decades of commitment to agriculture and the region’s business community.
The CDC extends its congratulations to all the award winners and thanks them for their continued dedication to strengthening the local economy.
