Officer-Involved Shooting Reported in Denison’s Washington Park
DENISON, Iowa – According to Crawford County Emergency Management, on the evening of August 15th, 2025, an officer-involved shooting occurred in Washington Park in Denison. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is investigating. Due to this being an ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
KDSN was on the scene earlier where heavy police presence surrounded the park and portions were taped off. We’ll share more information as it becomes available.
