Two Broadway Elementary Students Named National Math Stars
DENISON, Iowa R10; Broadway Elementary School is celebrating a remarkable achievement as two of its fourth-grade students, Trinity Rihner and Brielle Phipps, have been named National Math Stars.
The recognition comes after a nationwide selection process that reviewed more than 6,000 students across the country. Both Trinity and Brielle were chosen for their outstanding mathematical abilities and potential for advanced learning.
As part of this honor, the students will receive 10 years of academic support at no cost to their families. The program includes access to advanced math instruction, STEM and coding opportunities, competitions, and personalized mentorship to help them grow as future leaders in education and innovation.
School officials say the recognition is a testament not only to the students’ hard work and curiosity but also to the dedication of Broadway Elementary’s teachers and the support of the Denison community.
“This is an incredible accomplishment for Trinity and Brielle, and we could not be prouder,” the district shared in its announcement.
