Denison Police Department Reports Variety of Incidents From Past Week
The Denison Police Department reported several incidents from the final week and weekend of February.
Police served two different warrants Sunday evening for 30-year-old Cory Raymond of Manilla. They arrested 35-year-old Manyang Thiong early Sunday morning for simple assault and arrested 30-year-old male Andres Loarca for public intoxication on 1st Avenue around the same time. Police arrested 60-year-old James Schiltz on Saturday night for Driving While Barred at Broadway and South 14th Street. Police arrested 46-year-old Robert Boll of Dow City on Friday night at U.S. 30 and Chamberlin Drive West on a Crawford County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance third or subsequent. They also arrested 26-year-old Faith Ashlyn Depenning for fifth-degree theft on Thursday afternoon for shoplifting air fresheners, peppers and other items at Walmart without paying the total value of nearly $65.
All charges are allegations and the people charged in each of these cases are to be considered innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
