Milton’s on Main, a popular coffee and gift shop in downtown Lake View, is being offered for sale as its owners prepare for a new chapter in their family life.
Located at 413 Main Street, Milton’s on Main has become a well-known stop for both locals and visitors to Black Hawk Lake, offering coffee, smoothies, energy drinks, acai bowls, baked goods and a full line of décor and gift items. Online reviews consistently praise the shop’s welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and extensive drink and snack menu, helping establish it as one of Lake View’s signature small businesses.
In a recent announcement, the Tiefenthaler family shared that the business will be listed for sale, noting that the arrival of their twin babies has shifted their priorities and led them to step back from day-to-day operations. They expressed gratitude to the Lake View community for the support that helped make Milton’s on Main “feel like home” and for the many memories created there over the years.
Lake View’s business directory highlights Milton’s on Main as both a café and a specialty retail destination on Main Street, part of a cluster of local shops and restaurants that serve residents and the area’s strong tourism trade tied to Black Hawk Lake and the Sauk Rail Trail.
