CCHF Drive-Through Food Distribution Serves 200 Families in Denison
Denison, Iowa — The Crawford County Hunger Fighters (CCHF) held a successful drive-through food distribution Tuesday, December 16, at the Presbyterian Church in Denison, providing critical assistance to local families in need.
Organizers report that approximately 8,000 pounds of food were distributed during the event, serving 200 families across the community. Those households included a total of 336 adults and 178 children.
The drive-through format allowed volunteers to efficiently distribute food while maintaining an orderly and accessible process for participants. Organizers credited the strong turnout and smooth operation to the efforts of volunteers and community partners who assisted with planning, setup, and distribution.
CCHF officials expressed appreciation to everyone involved for their time and support, noting that the event helped ensure families across Crawford County have access to essential food resources during the winter season.
