Denison Native Susan Grau Named Siouxland YMCA Volunteer of the Year
(DENISON, Iowa) A Denison native is being recognized for her outstanding commitment to community service.
Susan Grau, originally from Denison, has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Siouxland YMCA, alongside fellow honoree Marsha Wile. The recognition highlights the pair’s dedication and behind-the-scenes work supporting the YMCA’s mission.
For the past two years, Grau and Wile have played a key role in the success of several major fundraising events, including Wine About Winter and BBQ & Blues. Their efforts focused on curating auction items and supporting event logistics—work that helped generate meaningful support for YMCA programs and services.
