Crawford County Women in Business Sponsor Little Miss Shamrock & Little Lassie Contest for St. Paddy’s Fest
The Crawford County Women in Business are helping bring added excitement to this year’s St. Paddy’s Fest by sponsoring the Little Miss Shamrock and Little Lassie Contest, offering young participants the opportunity to take part in one of Denison’s most festive traditions.
The contest features two age divisions: Little Miss Shamrock for girls ages 5 to 8, and Little Lassie for girls ages 9 to 12. The deadline to submit entries is Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
From the applications received, six contestants will be selected in each age group to participate in interviews. Interviews will take place Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Denison Norelius Library between 6:00 and 7:15 p.m., with each interview lasting approximately five minutes.
Participants are encouraged to dress in their best St. Patrick’s Day attire. Contestants may choose festive outfits, costumes, or formal wear. Those who wish to showcase a talent are welcome to do so during the interview process.
Winners in each division will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. on March 10, immediately following the interviews. The newly crowned Little Miss Shamrock and Little Lassie will ride in the Denison St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Parade lineup begins at noon, and participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
Completed entry forms may be dropped off at the Chamber and Development Office, located at 109 North Main Street in Denison, or submitted via email to denisonstpats@gmail.com.
