Blum Begins Duties as Extension County Youth Coordinator
There is a new and friendly face in the Crawford County Extension office. Manning native Hollie Blum began her work as the Crawford County Youth Coordinator on February 25, 2026. As County Youth Coordinator, Blum will have the responsibility of responding delivery of information and supporting programs in Crawford County delivered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Her focus will be to support the volunteer leaders and youth involved in the Crawford County 4-H Program.
Blum comes to the position with a strong background in 4-H positive youth development. She was a nine-year member of the Manning Win & Grin 4-H Club. She is a 2024 graduate of IKM-Manning High School.
“What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to combine my passion for agriculture with youth development,” says Blum. “Growing up actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and County Council, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that positive youth programs can have.”
