Two 15-year-olds charged with terrorism in AC/GC school threat
At around 8:15, Monday morning, March 2nd, the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to the AC/GC High School for threats that 2 15-year-old students made against the students and staff of AC/GC, including the high school principal. The threats were allegedly made on Friday, February 27th, during school hours, but were not reported until 8 am Monday morning, March 2nd. The two suspected students could not be located and were believed to be in the Ankeny area. At around 1 pm Monday, both juvenile suspects went to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office but refused to talk with law enforcement. At this time, both juveniles are being charged with Threat of Terrorism and will be transferred to a Juvenile Detention Center. At no point was there ever an active threat nd the Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation and substantiates the alleged threats that were made.
