MRHC Legacy Fund 5K Set for August 22nd

Lace up your running shoes and join Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) for the Legacy 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, August 22^nd at Manning Regional Healthcare Center. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at MRHC and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to come together in support of local healthcare. 

Awards will be presented to the top finishers in the men’s, women’s, and youth categories (under 12 and ages 13-18). Registration is now open at www.mrhcia.com/legacy-5k. Adult registration is $35, and youth registration is $20. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and water bottle. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the MRHC Legacy Fund. To receive a shirt on race day, registration is required by August 10^th. Shirts will be mailed to those who register after the 10^th. 

“Whether you’re a runner, walker, or simply want to support local healthcare, the Legacy 5K is a fun and meaningful way to get involved,” said MRHC CEO Shannon Black. “I encourage everyone to participate, not only to support MRHC, but to help shape the future of healthcare in our community. Every step you take helps us build a healthier tomorrow.”

The Legacy 5K is one of several fundraising events supporting the Legacy Fund. The MRHC Legacy Fund is a philanthropic initiative created to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the hospital. The fund helps the hospital continue to expand services, invest in innovative technology, and provide exceptional care close to home for generations to come. MRHC will also host its annual Legacy Gala on November 6^th to continue building support for the fund.
