Local Artist Randy Carrillo to Host Sip & Paint Graffiti Art Event in Denison
(Denison, Iowa) A local artist is inviting the community to explore their creativity during an upcoming Sip & Paint event later this month in downtown Denison.
Randy Carrillo will host his second annual Sip & Paint Night on Saturday, March 21, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the 1Vizion Productions Studio, located at 1305 Broadway Street, Suite 201, above the historic Donna Reed Theatre.
The event will focus on graffiti-style pop art and provide participants the opportunity to learn more about Carrillo’s experience in the graffiti art scene while creating their own artwork. Carrillo says the evening will feature art instruction, conversation about graffiti culture, and a relaxed creative environment.
All art supplies will be provided, and participants will paint alongside a professional artist while enjoying a curated music playlist designed to enhance the creative atmosphere.
The event is open to both experienced painters and beginners looking to try something new. Attendance is limited to 35 participants, with 30 spots still available as of March 8. Tickets are $45 and must be reserved in advance.
The event is bring-your-own-beverage. Alcohol will not be provided or sold at the event, and guests who bring alcoholic beverages must be at least 21 years old.
