Norelius Community Library Seeking Assistant Director

(DENISON, Iowa) The Norelius Community Library is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Library Director, according to a recent announcement from library officials.
The position is designed to support the day-to-day operations of the library and assist in delivering services to the community. Responsibilities include supervising and training staff, assisting patrons with reference questions, managing materials and interlibrary loans, coordinating programming, and serving in a leadership role in the absence of the library director.
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree and prior library experience are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $22.00, along with a benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, IPERS retirement, and paid vacation and holidays.
